and friends

philanthropic support for local NGOs.
What is Anguilla Community Foundation
?
The Anguilla Community Foundation was founded
in l999 with the goal of building a permanent collection of
endowed funds for the long-term benefit of the Anguilla community.
The Foundation is patterned after community foundations throughout
the world. They are created to make grants for community projects
in the community served by the Foundation.
The Anguilla Community Foundaiton is govered by a board representing
a cross section of the community. Many have been with the
Foundation since its inception. Others have more recently
joined the Board and they represent a wide range of leaders
on on the island.
Giving to the Anguilla Community Foundation enables residents
and friends to the island to help support issues and NGOs
working to make Anguilla a better place for all its residents.
Issues including children and youth, the arts, senior citizens,
health have all been a focus of the Foundation.
Since its inception, the Anguilla Community Foundation has
raised $115,000 for its endowment fund from which only income
will be spend when it reaches a higher total. In order to
make grants now, the Foundation has embarked on the ANGUILLA
CARES Campaign to raise money to make grants now and in the
future. It is our island vision that friends, colleagues and
leaders will assist this annual fund raising effort.
